The grandma's miraculous little soups. I remember when I used to wake up with a cold and she would cook me one of these delights.

In Honduran culture, this vegetable soup is considered a miraculous dish that comforts both the soul and the body with its delicious broth full of goodness.

Ingredients

2 pounds of Potato

2 pounds of Carrot

2 pounds of Sweet potato

1 pound of Cassava

1 Ripe plantain

2 Green plantains

3 Corn on the cob

1 Large onion

1 Green chili

1 Cilantro sprig

2 Spice packs

2 Annatto seed packs

1 pinch of Salt

2 Chicken bouillon cubes

2 Bouillon cubes

4 Tomatoes

8 cups of Chicken broth

8 cups of Water (discard if using chicken broth)

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this recipe, start by blending the chili, onion, and tomato, adding salt and bouillon to taste.

Step 2 : Then, lightly sauté the resulting mixture in some oil and add the vegetables, allowing them to cook for a few minutes while mixing all ingredients.

Step 3 : Next, add the chicken broth and cook the preparation for 25 minutes.

Step 4 : Once the soup is ready, it can be served with a few slices of lime to add an extra touch of freshness.
