Ingredients

1 pound of Cleaned shrimp

4 cups of Fish or shrimp broth

2 cups of Coconut milk

1 Medium onion, chopped

2 Garlic cloves, chopped

1 Red chili, chopped (optional)

1 Carrot, thinly sliced

1 Red bell pepper, sliced

1 cup of Chickpeas or peas

1 teaspoon of Cumin

Salt and pepper to taste

Lemon juice

Fresh cilantro, chopped

Preparation

Step 1 : In a large pot, heat some oil and sauté the onion, garlic, chili, and vegetables until softened.

Step 2 : Add the shrimp and cook for a few minutes until they change color.

Step 3 : Pour in the fish or shrimp broth, coconut milk, cumin, salt, and pepper.
