Ingredients

1 pound of Beef

3 Garlic cloves

1 Green sweet chili

½ Onion

1 Cilantro bunch

1 pound of Barbecue chorizos

1 pound of Smoked pork ribs

2 cans of Coconut milk

2 tablespoons of Achiote powder

1 pinch of Salt

1 pound of Cassava

3 Green bananas

2 Ripe plantains

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this delicious dish, first wash the salted meat in plenty of water to remove excess salt, ideally the night before cooking.

Step 2 : Once done, place the beef in a medium-sized pot with plenty of water, 3 garlic cloves, green chili cut into quarters, onion, and thick cilantro leaves.

Step 3 : Cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes until the meat is tender but firm.

Step 4 : Next, add the barbecue chorizos from Delicia Sausages and the pork ribs to the pot and cook over medium heat for another 15 minutes.

Step 5 : Then, remove and strain the broth, transferring it to another pot along with the meats.

Step 6 : Add the coconut milk, achiote, adjust salt to taste, and bring to a boil over medium heat.

Step 7 : Once it boils, add the cassava cut into pieces and cook for 10 minutes.

Step 8 : Then, add the green bananas and ripe plantains, also cut into chunks, cooking for an additional 15 minutes and adjusting the salt as necessary.

Step 9 : Finally, serve the dish in deep plates and accompany with white rice and chili to taste.
