Ingredients

1 kilogram of Beef cut into chunks

2 Corn on the cob, sliced

2 Carrots, sliced

1 Green plantain, peeled and cut into pieces

1 Peeled and cubed chayote

2 Peeled potatoes, chopped

1 Large chopped onion

3 Garlic cloves, chopped

1 Large chopped tomato

1 Chopped celery stalk

1 Fresh cilantro sprig

Salt and pepper to taste

Enough water

Preparation

Step 1 : In a large pot, place the beef and cover with water.

Step 2 : Bring to a boil and cook for 30 minutes.

Step 3 : Add the onion, garlic, tomato, celery, and cilantro to the pot and cook for another 10 minutes.

Step 4 : Then add the corn, carrots, plantain, chayote, potatoes, salt, and pepper.

Step 5 : Cook over medium heat for 20 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.

Step 6 : Adjust seasoning and serve hot.
