Ingredients

2 cans of Coconut milk

2 Green plantains

2 Large carrots

1 Yuca

1 Potato

1 Large onion

2 Garlic cloves

1 Green pepper

1 Hot chili or cayenne

250 grams of Soup fish

250 grams of Seafood

1 Handful of cilantro

Salt, pepper, and cumin

Preparation (simple version)

Preparation

Step 1 : In a large pot, sauté the chopped onion in butter, then add the garlic, pepper, and chili.

Step 2 : Add the yuca cut into large pieces and sauté for 5 minutes.

Step 3 : Next, add the coconut milk and simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes.

Step 4 : Season to taste with salt and pepper, and if desired, add achiote or paprika and a little ground cumin.

Step 5 : Then, add the plantain and potato, and let it boil for another 10 minutes.

Step 6 : If necessary, add water, fish fumé, or chicken broth.

Step 7 : One minute before removing from heat, add the fish and cilantro.

Step 8 : The fish will finish cooking during the resting period.
