Honduran Spicy Chicken Soup
Ingredients
1 Seasoned honduran chicken
1 Large tomato
1 Onion
1 Chile
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce or black sauce
5 Garlic
3 Potatoes
6 cups of Water
2 Carrots
4 Corn cobs
2 Chicken broth
1 Celery stalk
1 pinch of Salt
Pataste
1 Finely chopped cilantro bunch
½ tablespoon of Annatto
Oil
Preparation
Step 1 : In a large pot, add the tomatoes, onion, chili, and garlic, and sauté until golden.
Step 2 : Then add the Worcestershire sauce, broth, oil, and chicken, and sauté a bit more.
Step 3 : Pour water into the pot and let it cook over low heat for about an hour, until the chicken is tender.
Step 4 : Once the chicken is done, add the remaining ingredients and cook for another 15 minutes to blend the flavors.
