Ingredients

2 Garrabotos

1 Cilantro bunch

1 Large onion

2 Sweet peppers

2 Medium tomatoes

2 Garlic cloves

1 Black pepper bag

2 Spice bags

1 pinch of Salt

2 liters of Water

2 Bouillon cubes

1 pound of Potato

1 Broth

Preparation

Step 1 : In a pot over medium heat, pour the two liters of water and season with salt, black pepper, spices, and bouillon cubes.

Step 2 : Cut the onion, peppers, tomatoes, and garlic into small pieces, and add them to the water along with the peeled and cleaned garrabotos.

Step 3 : Next, add the potato, sliced or cubed, followed by the broth and cilantro bunch to season everything well.

Step 4 : Let it cook for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 5 : After 30 minutes, check that the garrabotos are tender and well cooked, as well as the vegetables, and that the soup is well seasoned.

Step 6 : If necessary, add a little more seasoning.

Step 7 : Turn off the heat and let it cool, although it's recommended to serve the soup hot.

Step 8 : Serve and enjoy this delicious Honduran-style garraboto broth.
