Honduran Crab Soup has its roots in the culinary tradition of the Caribbean coast, where fishermen prepared it with fresh seafood they obtained. Its intense flavor and the mixture of local ingredients make it a delicious option to enjoy on any occasion.

Ingredients
2 Dried coconuts
12 Crabs
2 Green plantains
Yuca
1 pinch of Salt
Pepper with cumin
1 Achiote sweet chili
2 Tomatoes
½ Onion
2 Cloves of garlic
Parsley
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare this exquisite dish, start by peeling the coconuts and grating them to extract the milk.
Step 2 : Then, make sure to properly clean the crabs to remove any residues.
Step 3 : In a large pot, heat one tablespoon of lard and sauté the sweet chili, tomatoes, garlic, and finely chopped parsley.
Step 4 : Add the vegetables cut into cubes and the previously cleaned crabs.
Step 5 : Stir well and pour the coconut milk into the pot.
Step 6 : If you think the liquid isn't enough, add a bit of extra boiled water to your liking.
Step 7 : Let everything cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes, until it's ready to enjoy this delicious preparation!
