Ingredients

2 cups of Coconut meat

1 tablespoon of Oil

12 Crabs

2 Green plantains

1 pound of Yuca

Salt and pepper

1 teaspoon of Cumin

Achiote

1 Chopped sweet chili

1 Chopped tomatoes

½ Chopped onion

1 Crushed garlic clove

2 Chopped cilantro leaves

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this delicious recipe, start by grating the coconut and extracting all the possible milk, which you should set aside.

Step 2 : Then, clean the crabs and also reserve them.

Step 3 : In a pot, add a tablespoon of oil and sauté the chopped sweet chili, tomatoes, onion, garlic, and cilantro.

Step 4 : Next, add the sliced plantains and yuca along with the cleaned crabs.

Step 5 : Stir all the ingredients and add the coconut milk and, if needed, a little additional simmered water if the liquid isn't enough.

Step 6 : Cook on low heat and season with salt, pepper, and achiote to taste for approximately 20 minutes.
