Ingredients

½ pound of Tortilla dough

½ pound of Dried grated white cheese

1 Egg

½ cup of Oil

Salt and pepper

1 liter of Water

1 teaspoon of Oil

Chopped onion

teaspoon of Achiote

1 Cilantro leaf

1 Chopped tomato

1 Chopped green pepper

¼ teaspoon of Spicy chili sauce

1 Chopped garlic clove

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare these delicious fried capirotada with spicy salsa, start by mixing the tortilla dough with grated cheese, salt, pepper, and egg, kneading until you obtain a smooth and flexible dough.

Step 2 : Next, form balls of the desired size from the dough and fry them in hot oil until golden. Set aside.

Step 3 : In another pan, heat oil and add achiote, tomato, onion, chili, garlic, cilantro, green pepper, spicy chili sauce, salt, and pepper to taste, then sauté the ingredients.

Step 4 : Once they are well sautéed and seasoned, add water and cook for about 5 minutes.

Step 5 : Then, add the fried dough balls to the salsa, let it boil for another 5 minutes, and it's ready!
