Ingredients

2 tablespoons of Vegetable oil

½ Medium white onion, finely chopped

3 Roma tomatoes, finely chopped

½ Cabbage head, cut into thin strips

4 cups of Chicken broth

2 cups of Water broth

8 Cilantro sprigs

¼ cup of Fresh cilantro, finely chopped

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this recipe, start by heating the oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.

Step 2 : Then add the onion and sauté for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it becomes translucent.

Step 3 : Next, add the tomatoes and cabbage, and continue sautéing for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 4 : Afterwards, add the chicken broth, water, and cilantro sprigs, seasoning with salt to taste.

Step 5 : Once it boils, cover the pot and reduce the heat to low.

Step 6 : Let it cook for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the cabbage is fully cooked.

Step 7 : Then remove from heat.

Step 8 : To serve, ladle the soup into bowls and garnish with chopped cilantro to taste.
