Broccoli with Cheese Soup
Ingredients
1 Head of broccoli cut into pieces
2 cups of Milk
2 tablespoons of Cornstarch
Oil
1 cup of Chopped onion
2 Minced garlic cloves
3 cups of Chicken broth
¼ teaspoon of Black pepper
250 grams of Shredded cheddar cheese
Preparation
Step 1 : In a pot, add oil and heat it.
Step 2 : Next, add the onion and garlic to sauté for about 3 minutes.
Step 3 : Then, add the broth and broccoli, allowing it to boil over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes or until the broccoli is tender.
Step 4 : In a separate container, mix the milk and cornstarch until well combined.
Step 5 : Then, incorporate this mixture into the broth and let it boil over low heat for an additional 10 minutes, until it thickens, stirring constantly.
Step 6 : Afterward, add the pepper and cheese, cooking until it melts completely.
Step 7 : Next, transfer the entire preparation to a food processor and blend until obtaining a smooth cream.
