2 pounds of Beef shank
2 pounds of Beef ribs
3 liters of Water
3 Garlic
1 Onion
1 Sweet pepper
1 pound of Yucca
1 pound of Potatoes
1 Carrot
3 Green bananas
1 Pataste
1 Cabbage
4 Corn on the cob
1 pound of Sweet potato
2 Beef broth
1 pinch of Salt
Fine cilantro
Wide cilantro
1 tablespoon of Achiote
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare this dish, first season the meat with salt, pepper, broth, and achiote.
Step 2 : Then, add chili, tomato, onion, garlic, wide cilantro, and fine cilantro.
Step 3 : Add water and let it cook for two hours over low heat.
Step 4 : After this cooking time, add the vegetables and cook for an additional 15 minutes.
Step 5 : Once ready, serve the hot dish accompanied by rice and a lime wedge.
