Ingredients

½ pound of Wild rice

1 pound of Cooked white rice

¼ cup of Raisins

½ cup of Pecans

½ cup of Sliced almonds

¼ cup of Cranberries

½ cup of Chopped parsley

½ cup of Pineapple juice

½ cup of Chopped red chili pepper

2 tablespoons of Yellow butter

4 tablespoons of Pear nectar

4 tablespoons of Peach nectar

1 pinch of Salt

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : In a medium pot with 3 cups of water, cook the wild rice at high heat, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking to the bottom.

Step 2 : After 10 minutes, add the Pear Nectar and Peach Nectar, and continue cooking for another 15 minutes at high heat.

Step 3 : Once this time has passed, drain the wild rice and set aside.

Step 4 : In a bowl, mix raisins, pecans, sliced almonds, and cranberries, then place in a skillet and add the Yellow Butter.

Step 5 : Cook for 10 minutes over medium heat, stirring constantly to prevent burning, then set aside.

Step 6 : In a large bowl or saucepan, combine the cooked white rice, wild rice, and all the nuts, then add the chopped red chili pepper and parsley.

Step 7 : Mix everything thoroughly and season to taste with salt and pepper.
