Ingredients

1 pound of Ground meat

1 Chopped onion

2 Chopped garlic cloves

1 Chopped green chili

½ cup of Tomato juice

1 teaspoon of Cumin

Salt and pepper to taste

Empanada dough

Oil for frying

Preparation

Step 1 : In a skillet, sauté the onion, garlic, and green chili until golden.

Step 2 : Then, add the ground meat and cook until well done.

Step 3 : Next, add the tomato juice, cumin, salt, and pepper, and cook over low heat for a few minutes.

Step 4 : Roll out the empanada dough and fill with the meat mixture.

Step 5 : Seal the dough to form the pastries and carefully close the edges.

Step 6 : Then, fry in hot oil until golden and crispy.

Step 7 : Finally, serve the hot Honduran meat pastries and enjoy in good company.
