Traditional Enchiladas

Ingredients

8 Corn tortillas

2 Cooked and shredded chicken breasts

1 cup of Shredded cheese

1 cup of Sour cream

1 can of Tomato sauce

1 Chopped onion

2 Minced garlic cloves

Cooking oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1 : In a skillet, heat a little oil and cook the onion and garlic until golden.

Step 2 : Then, add the shredded chicken and season to taste with salt and pepper.

Step 3 : Cook for a few minutes until well mixed.

Step 4 : Next, add the tomato sauce to the chicken mixture and cook for a few more minutes.

Step 5 : Meanwhile, warm the corn tortillas in a comal or skillet until soft.

Step 6 : Then, place a portion of the chicken mixture onto each tortilla, roll them up, and place in a greased baking dish.

Step 7 : Pour a little more tomato sauce over the enchiladas and sprinkle with shredded cheese.

Step 8 : Bake the enchiladas at 180°C (350°F) for about 15-20 minutes, until the cheese melts and they are hot.

Step 9 : Once ready, serve the Honduran Enchiladas with sour cream to enjoy this delicious dish.
