Tamarind Fish
Ingredients
1 pound of Fish
1 Persian lime
¼ cup of Chopped red onion
¼ cup of Chopped red chili
¼ cup of Julienned scallions
1 cup of Tamarind juice
1 tablespoon of Yellow butter
1 tablespoon of Dark soy sauce
1 teaspoon of Ground ginger
1 teaspoon of Ground garlic
1 tablespoon of Cornstarch
1 pinch of Salt
1 pinch of Pepper
Preparation
Step 1 : Season the fish with salt, pepper, cumin, and lime juice, then fry in plenty of oil until cooked, approximately 10 to 15 minutes, and set aside.
Step 2 : For the tamarind sauce, place ground garlic and ginger in a skillet and sauté lightly with a little oil.
Step 3 : Then add Yellow Butter and Tamarind Juice, incorporate dark soy sauce, and thicken the preparation with cornstarch previously diluted in 2 tablespoons of water.
Step 4 : Remove from heat and add onion and red chili to the sauce.
Step 5 : To serve, place the fish on a plate and cover with the prepared sauce.
Step 6 : Finally, garnish with scallions.
