Stuffed Turkey

Stuffed turkey is a traditional recipe for Christmas celebrations, one of the favorites among Honduran families to share with others.

The flavor of this turkey is unmatched and very exquisite, ideal to prepare during Easter. The touch of pineapple adds a sweet flavor, making this dish a perfect delicacy for the December 24th dinner.

Ingredients

1 Turkey

1 White onion

1 pound of Pork lean meat

2 Raisin packs

½ cup of White wine

1 Broth

1 Medium sweet chili

1 Butter bar

Grapes

2 Red apples

1 Carrot

4 tablespoons of Olive oil

1 pound of Potato

2 Pineapple slices

3 Garlic cloves

1 Cilantro bunch

1 Parsley bunch

2 Spice packs

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : In a baking tray greased with olive oil, place the washed turkey with a deep and wide opening in the center for the head.

Step 2 : Proceed to chop the onion, chili, garlic cloves, cilantro bunch, and parsley bunch.

Step 3 : Then season using salt, add the pound of pork lean meat and the raisins.

Step 4 : Cut the pineapple into small pieces to stuff the turkey's opening and larger pieces to decorate the tray.

Step 5 : Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and insert the tray, baking for approximately 45 minutes until the turkey begins to brown and its meat is tender, with the other ingredients well cooked.

Step 6 : Once ready, turn off the oven and let it cool.
