Ingredients

1 ½ kilogram of Shrimp

1 cup of Tomato puree

2 tablespoons of Oil

1 Crushed garlic clove

¼ cup of Rum

Lemon juice

1 pinch of Salt

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : In a skillet, add oil and sauté the peeled and cleaned shrimp for about 3 minutes.

Step 2 : When they start to turn pink, remove and set aside.

Step 3 : Then, in the same skillet where the shrimp were sautéed, sauté the garlic.

Step 4 : Next, add the tomato puree, lemon juice, rum, salt, and pepper to taste.

Step 5 : Cook the mixture for about 8 minutes over medium heat.

Step 6 : Then, add the shrimp and cook over low heat for about 3 minutes.
