This Shrimp Satay is served with a tasty green and sweet-sour sauce that gives a special touch to this dish.
Shrimp Satay
Ingredients
12 Jumbo shrimp
1 tablespoon of Ground garlic
1 Lemon
2 tablespoons of Pineapple juice
3 Skewers
4 Garlic cloves
½ cup of Olive oil
2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese
½ cup of Cilantro leaves
1 cup of Chopped tomato
½ cup of Sugar
½ cup of Vinegar
½ cup of Apple juice
1 tablespoon of Chili flakes
1 pinch of Salt
1 pinch of Pepper
Preparation
Step 1 : Season the shrimp with ground garlic, lemon juice, pineapple juice, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix well and skewers. Set aside.
Step 2 : For the green sauce, place all ingredients in a processor or blender, blend until combined, and season to taste with salt and pepper. Set aside.
Step 3 : In a small pot, combine all ingredients for the sweet-sour sauce and cook over medium heat until slightly thickened.
Step 4 : Allow to cool before serving.
Step 5 : Heat a skillet or grill, add oil, and cook the shrimp skewers for a maximum of 2 minutes per side, until golden in color.
Step 6 : Serve the shrimp skewers with the green sauce and the sweet-sour sauce.
