Ingredients

1 kilogram of Pork meat

5 Green plantains

1 kilogram of Cassava

1 Ripe banana

3 Garlic cloves

1 Medium white onion

1 Medium sweet pepper

4 tablespoons of Olive oil

Oregano, cumin, bay leaf

1 Cilantro bunch

1 Lemon

1 cup of Rice

1 Broth cube

2 liters of Water

2 Tomatoes

1 pinch of Salt

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this delicious dish, start by washing the meat and squeezing lemon juice over it to clean it thoroughly.

Step 2 : Then, cut it into pieces and reserve.

Step 3 : In a pot, heat a few tablespoons of oil and add the chopped onion, tomatoes, chili, and garlic cloves.

Step 4 : Sauté these ingredients with the oil, then add the plantain, cassava, and ripe banana cut into medium-sized pieces.

Step 5 : Next, add the 2 liters of water and start cooking over low heat.

Step 6 : Add the seasonings, spices, broth cube, and salt.

Step 7 : Stir everything well so the meat is flavorful and add the cup of rice.

Step 8 : Cook for approximately 25 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

Step 9 : Taste and adjust the seasoning with a bit more salt and pepper.

Step 10 : Once ready, turn off the heat and let it rest for a few minutes.

Step 11 : Serve freshly made and sprinkle finely chopped cilantro on top.
