4 Patastes

2 cups of Grated cheese

Oil

1 Eggs

1 pinch of Salt

2 tablespoons of Margarine

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : Patastes are cooked with their skin on, and once ready, they are cut in half and the inside is carefully removed to avoid breaking the shell.

Step 2 : Reserve the pataste flesh.

Step 3 : In a bowl, mix the pataste flesh with grated cheese, season with salt and pepper, and set aside.

Step 4 : Place the pataste shells on a baking tray and fill them with the prepared mixture.

Step 5 : Meanwhile, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and fold in the egg yolks, adding a little flour to strengthen the mixture.

Step 6 : Bread the stuffed patastes in the beaten egg and fry them in a skillet.

Step 7 : Then, prepare the sauce in a deep pot to taste and, when boiling, add the fried patties one by one until they are soaked with the sauce.

Step 8 : Serve hot accompanied by white rice.
