Ingredients

1 Large beef spleen

2 kilograms of Beef chunk

1 White onion

1 kilogram of Potatoes

1 Sweet chili pepper

1 can of Green peas

1 can of Chickpeas

4 Tomatoes

Oregano, tarragon, thyme

1 Cilantro bunch

1 cup of Rice

4 cups of Water

2 Beef bouillon cubes

3 Garlic cloves

4 tablespoons of Olive oil

1 pinch of Salt

2 Bay leaves

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : First, in a pot, add the 4 tablespoons of olive oil and place the beef spleen to brown.

Step 2 : Next, chop the onion, chili, tomato, and garlic, then sauté in the oil.

Step 3 : Subsequently, cut the potato into square pieces, add the 4 cups of water, and cook for 30 minutes.

Step 4 : Then, season with the bouillon cubes, spices, bay leaves, salt, pepper, and chopped cilantro.

Step 5 : Add the cup of rice and the chunk cut into pieces, mixing well to blend all the flavors.

Step 6 : Finally, add the can of peas and chickpeas, cook for about 25 minutes, turning the spleen and mixing the ingredients.

Step 7 : Once ready, turn off the heat, check that the meat is tender, and serve immediately.
