¼ cup of Red wine

1 Head of garlic

2 Sprigs of thyme

½ cup of Apple juice

½ cup of Pineapple juice

½ cup of Honey

½ cup of Sugar

¼ cup of Fruit punch juice

4 tablespoons of Yellow butter

Preparation

Step 1 : Place the ham in a large saucepan or skillet, and add the balsamic vinegar, red wine, apple juice, pineapple juice, fruit punch juice, honey, sugar, thyme sprigs, yellow butter, 1 head of garlic cut into 4 parts, and 2 whole garlic cloves.

Step 2 : Cook for 90 minutes over low heat without a lid, making sure it doesn't burn.

Step 3 : Using a spoon, baste the ham every 15 minutes until the sauce begins to thicken slightly.

Step 4 : It is important to stay attentive, continually spooning the sauce over the ham.

Step 5 : Watch as the ham takes on the color of the sauce and begins to form a shiny layer on top.

Step 6 : Once done, remove the ham from the pan, strain the sauce, and let the ham rest for 10 minutes before slicing into thin pieces and serving.
