Garlic Shrimp with Apple

Ingredients

1 pound of Pre-cooked shrimp

2 Apples

cup of Coconut milk

12 Garlic cloves

2 Green plantains

½ White onion

1 tablespoon of Shrimp or chicken bouillon

1 teaspoon of Ginger

½ teaspoon of Pepper

½ teaspoon of Sea salt

½ teaspoon of Oregano

½ teaspoon of Cumin

Fresh parsley (preferably)

Lemon

Olive oil for frying the shrimp

Vegetable oil for frying the plantains

Preparation

Step 1 : In a bowl, mix the bouillon, pepper, oregano, ginger, cumin, and salt.

Step 2 : Then, add the shrimp to the bowl and incorporate the spices along with the coconut milk.

Step 3 : Let this mixture marinate in the refrigerator.

Step 4 : To prepare the shrimp, peel and chop the garlic and onion, heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté the onion.

Step 5 : Add the garlic and shrimp, cover, and cook until done.

Step 6 : Meanwhile, heat vegetable oil in another skillet and fry the plantain slices until golden.

Step 7 : Finally, peel and cut the apples.

Step 8 : Serve the shrimp together with the fried plantains and apples to enjoy this exquisite dish.
