Devil's Shrimp
Ingredients
2 kilograms of Shrimp
3 Green chilies
3 Chipotle chilies
200 grams of Butter
1 Onion
3 Red tomatoes
1 pinch of Salt
Oregano, white pepper, cumin
1 Tomato paste
2 cups of Water
2 Garlic cloves
1 Cilantro bunch
4 tablespoons of Olive oil
Preparation
Step 1 : The shrimp should be washed and peeled, then reserved in a bowl.
Step 2 : The green chilies, chipotle chilies, onion, tomato, and garlic should be washed and chopped, separating them by type.
Step 3 : In a hot skillet with olive oil, sauté the chilies first on low heat for 5 minutes.
Step 4 : Add the white onion and garlic, sauté for a few more minutes.
Step 5 : Add the shrimp to the skillet with the garlic, half a stick of margarine, salt, spices, and half a cup of water.
Step 6 : In a small pot, dissolve the tomato paste in a cup and a half of hot water, add the tomatoes, and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes with salt and spices.
Step 7 : When the sauce is still hot, pour it over the shrimp and mix until they are coated.
Step 8 : Finally, add chopped cilantro to the devil's shrimp.
Step 9 : Serve hot with French fries, steamed vegetables, or garlic bread.
