Ingredients

1 Chicken

2 cups of Corn dough

1 cup of Chicken broth

1 cup of Tomato

1 Onion

2 Cloves of garlic

1 Sweet chili

1 Raisin chili

1 teaspoon of Achiote

1 teaspoon of Cumin

1 teaspoon of Salt

Banana leaves

Preparation

Step 1 : In a pot, cook the chicken with water and salt until tender.

Step 2 : Shred and set aside.

Step 3 : In a skillet, sauté the onion, garlic, chilies, and tomato.

Step 4 : Add the achiote, cumin, and salt.

Step 5 : Incorporate the corn dough and chicken broth into the mixture.

Step 6 : Cook until obtaining a smooth dough.

Step 7 : On banana leaves, place a portion of dough with some shredded chicken.

Step 8 : Wrap like a tamale and steam for 1 hour.

Step 9 : Serve with creole sauce.
