Ingredients

2 pounds of Cooked chicken breast

Juice of five lemons

2 Garlic cloves

½ Onion

2 Bay leaves

1 pound of Puff pastry

3 tablespoons of Margarine

1 Onion

1 Chili

2 Crushed garlic cloves

3 cups of Mixed vegetables

3 tablespoons of All-purpose flour

1 cup of Cream

1 teaspoon of Ground cumin

½ tablespoon of Ground oregano

½ teaspoon of Dried thyme

½ teaspoon of Dried rosemary

Chopped cilantro

1 pinch of Salt

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare the chicken pie, it is important to start by removing excess fat from the chicken and soaking it in lemon juice for 15 minutes.

Step 2 : Then, the breasts should be drained and cooked in water with salt, bay leaves, and garlic for 40 minutes.

Step 3 : Once cooked, remove the chicken, shred it, and set aside.

Step 4 : In a skillet, sauté onion, chili, and garlic in margarine, then add flour, chicken broth, and cream.

Step 5 : Next, add the vegetables, shredded chicken, spices, and cook for 10 minutes.

Step 6 : Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 200°C.

Step 7 : Then, place a layer of dough in a mold, fill with the chicken mixture, and cover with another layer of dough.

Step 8 : You can make holes in the surface of the pie for even cooking and bake for 25 minutes.

Step 9 : Once ready, let the pie rest, serve, and you can garnish with cilantro.
