Here is a simple way to prepare delicious chicken nacatamales.
Chicken Nacatamales
Ingredients
2 ½ pounds of Maseca corn flour
1 ½ cup of Lard
1 Large onion
1 Large green chili
½ Culantro bunch
3 Garlic cloves or to taste
Water
2 pounds of Chicken meat
½ pound of Prepared dough
1 Large tomato
1 Large onion

5 Garlic cloves
2 Large sweet green chiles
2 teaspoons of Achiote for coloring
2 cups of Partially cooked rice
2 cups of Stuffed olives
3 Large potatoes cut into cubes
1 can of Green peas
½ cup of Chickpeas
1 cup of Optional raisins
1 pinch of Salt
1 pinch of Pepper
Preparation
Step 1 : Begin by blending the garlic, onion, sweet chili, and culantro with a little water.
Step 2 : Next, dissolve the lard in a skillet and remove from heat.
Step 3 : In a large pot, dissolve the corn flour with water, salt, pepper, and the previous blend.
Step 4 : Cook by adding the melted lard until a soft dough is obtained.
Step 5 : Then, prepare the chicken by seasoning and cooking it with the spices.
Step 6 : Make the Filling with the white dough, achiote, and meat juice.
Step 7 : Prepare the ingredients for stuffing the nacatamales and wrap them in banana leaves, tying them.
Step 8 : Cook the nacatamales steamed for 30 to 45 minutes.
Step 9 : Finally, serve and enjoy with your family.
