Ingredients

1 ½ pound of Cleaned yuca

3 tablespoons of Oil

½ cup of Parmesan cheese

½ cup of Gouda cheese

¼ cup of Oil

½ cup of Chopped onion

2 Chopped garlic cloves

1 Chopped green chili

1 pound of Ground meat

2 teaspoons of Tomato paste

1 pinch of Salt

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : The yuca is cooked until tender, then mashed and mixed with Parmesan and Gouda cheeses, adding oil, and kneading to obtain a smooth dough.

Step 2 : Meanwhile, a sofrito is prepared with onion, garlic, and green chili; ground meat is added, seasoned, and cooked thoroughly.

Step 3 : Next, add the tomato paste, cook for a few minutes, and adjust the flavor.

Step 4 : Divide the yuca dough into 12 portions, form tortillas with them, fill with the meat mixture, and close to form carimañolas.

Step 5 : Finally, fry the carimañolas until golden and crispy, then serve and enjoy this delicious dish.
