Beef Stew
Ingredients
2 pounds of Beef cut into chunks
1 tablespoon of Oil
2 Garlic cloves, crushed
1 Diced onion
2 Carrots, cut into chunks
2 Potatoes, cut into chunks
1 Cilantro leaf
½ cup of White wine
1 tablespoon of Vinegar
1 Green sweet chili, chopped into chunks
¼ cup of Tomato paste
Salt and pepper
1 pinch of Pepper
Preparation
Step 1 : In a skillet, heat the oil and sauté the meat until browned.
Step 2 : Then, add the onion, the sweet chili, and the garlic.
Step 3 : Cook for about 5 minutes.
Step 4 : Once the onion is caramelized, add the potatoes, carrots, and cook for another 5 minutes.
Step 5 : Next, add the wine, vinegar, tomato paste, cilantro, salt, and pepper to taste.
Step 6 : Cover and cook over low heat for about 40 minutes to 1 hour, until the meat is tender.
