Ingredients

1 Pork leg with skin

10 Garlic cloves, sliced thinly

6 tablespoons of Salt

2 tablespoons of Ground pepper

2 tablespoons of Ground cumin

1 cup of White wine

½ cup of Water

Preparation

Step 1 : The day before preparation, clean the pork leg and make holes all over it.

Step 2 : In a container, prepare a mixture with salt, pepper, cumin, wine, and water, well combined, to marinate the entire pork leg.

Step 3 : Insert slices of garlic into the holes so that the flavors penetrate the meat.

Step 4 : Cover the leg with aluminum foil and let it marinate in the refrigerator until the next day.

Step 5 : On the day of preparation, preheat the oven to 350°F.

Step 6 : Place the pork leg in the oven covered with aluminum foil and bake for 3 hours.

Step 7 : Every 20 minutes, baste the leg with the cooking juices and the juices released by the meat.

Step 8 : At the end of 3 hours or when the leg is ready, sprinkle with cold water to make the skin swell and be ready to serve.
