Honduran torrejas are a very popular traditional dessert in the country's cuisine. They consist of slices of bread soaked in a mixture of milk, egg, and cinnamon, then fried until golden.

Ingredients
6 Slices of white bread
2 cups of Milk
2 Eggs
½ cup of Sugar
1 teaspoon of Cinnamon powder
Vegetable oil for frying
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare Honduran torrejas, start by mixing the milk, eggs, sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl.
Step 2 : Then, dip the bread slices into this mixture until they are well soaked.
Step 3 : Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and fry the torrejas on both sides until golden and crispy.
Step 4 : Then, drain them on paper towels.
Step 5 : Finally, serve the torrejas hot, sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon.
