Pumpkin Flan
Ingredients
1 can of Condensed Milk
1 can of Evaporated Milk
4 Eggs
1 ½ cup of Pumpkin
1 cup of Sugar
½ Lemon
Preparation
Step 1 : In a pot, place the peeled pumpkin cut into large chunks and boil until soft.
Step 2 : Then remove from the heat, drain, and blend in a blender until a smooth cream forms.
Step 3 : In a bowl, add the eggs and beat together with the condensed and evaporated milk, beating continuously until well combined.
Step 4 : In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, and the juice of half a lemon.
Step 5 : Heat until the sugar dissolves and turns a dark brown color.
Step 6 : Then add the caramel into a pudding mold, spreading it all over the mold.
Step 7 : Next, pour the mixture into the mold and place it in a water bath in a preheated oven at 350°F.
Step 8 : Cook for about 45 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the flan comes out clean.
Step 9 : Once ready, remove from the oven and let it cool before unmolding.
