Ingredients

2 cups of Flour

1 teaspoon of Baking powder

½ tablespoon of Salt

½ cup of Yellow butter

½ cup of Skimmed milk

1 Egg white

1 cup of Strawberries

1 cup of Strawberry milkshake

2 cups of Sugar

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare the pastries, start by placing the flour and baking powder in a food processor and process for 5 seconds.

Step 2 : Then, add the Yellow Butter and process.

Step 3 : Next, slowly incorporate the hot skimmed milk into the processor, mixing until a dough forms into a ball.

Step 4 : Then, transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for 5 minutes.

Step 5 : Cover with plastic wrap and let rest for 30 minutes.

Step 6 : While the dough rests, preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a baking mold with Yellow Butter.

Step 7 : Next, roll out the dough with a rolling pin until it reaches ½ inch thickness and cut out circles using a glass or a wide-mouth jar.

Step 8 : Brush the edges of half of each circle with the egg white mixture and place the strawberry filling in the center.

Step 9 : Fold each circle in half to form a half-moon, pressing the edges firmly.

Step 10 : Then, place the pastries on the greased baking sheet and brush the top with the egg white mixture.

Step 11 : Pierce the top with a fork and bake the pastries for 20 minutes or until lightly golden.

Step 12 : Once ready, remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
