Considered one of the typical Central American drinks originating from Honduras, its preparation usually takes place in rural areas near the West of the country, and its recipe is very quick and simple.

Ingredients

½ pound of Toasted Walcaparu Corn

2 Cinnamon sticks

3 Cloves

10 cups of Water

Preparation

Step 1 : In a clean pot, place the corn, cinnamon, and cloves in hot water and cook for at least half an hour.

Step 2 : Once cooked, transfer to a clay vessel and allow it to ferment for 3 days.

Step 3 : Then, sweeten to taste, and you will have a delicious Cochabamba-style corn refreshment.
