Pozol
Ingredients
1 liter of Whole milk
½ pound of Corn
½ pound of Sugar
½ cup of Purified water
Cinnamon stick
Ground cinnamon
Vanilla
Preparation
Step 1 : Place the milk along with the cinnamon stick in a container.
Step 2 : Then, place a strainer over the container so that it touches the milk.
Step 3 : Add a tablespoon of ground corn and strain the mixture into the milk until fully dissolved.
Step 4 : To prepare the syrup, dissolve the sugar in boiled water until it reaches the desired consistency.
Step 5 : Optionally, corn husks can be added.
Step 6 : Finally, serve the pozol in a jug and add ground cinnamon to taste.
Step 7 : If desired, add a little sugar and ice.
