This is a very popular beverage throughout Honduras, usually mild and handcrafted.
Its history dates back to pre-Columbian times when the indigenous peoples made it by hand.

Ingredients
2 pounds of Cracked corn
Sugar or rapadura
1 liter of Milk
Ice
Preparation
Step 1 : The corn is properly washed and soaked from the day before preparation.
Step 2 : In a pot with enough water, boil the corn until it becomes tender.
Step 3 : Once cooked, remove from heat and let cool.
Step 4 : Then, add the sugar or rapadura, milk, and ice.
Step 5 : All ingredients are placed in a blender and blended until a smooth mixture is achieved.
