Cherry Wine
Ingredients
1 Glass bottle
1 Long-spouted funnel
Sodium or potassium metabisulfite tablets
4 Pounds of cherries
Yeast
Distilled water
Preparation
Step 1 : Wash the cherries, cut them in half, and remove the seeds.
Step 2 : Then, crush them in a glass or clay container until obtaining at least 150 ml of juice.
Step 3 : Add distilled water, one metabisulfite tablet, and yeast.
Step 4 : Let the mixture rest for 1 to 2 days, stirring every 2 to 4 hours.
Step 5 : After 3 days, place a strainer to filter the wine and leave it to rest.
Step 6 : It is recommended to let it rest for a prolonged period to improve its flavor and quality.
