Traditional Semitas
Ingredients
3 cups of Flour
1 cup of Sugar
1 cup of Melted butter
1 tablespoon of Dry yeast
1 cup of Lukewarm milk
Lemon zest
Preparation
Step 1 : In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and dry yeast.
Step 2 : Then add the melted butter, lukewarm milk, and lemon zest, and mix until a homogeneous dough forms.
Step 3 : Let the dough rest in a warm place for one hour, until it doubles in size.
Step 4 : Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Step 5 : Form small balls with the dough and place them on a baking tray.
Step 6 : Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
