Ingredients

2 ½ pounds of Dry cheese

1 pound of Natilla

10 pounds of Ground corn

1 pound of Sour milk

2 tablespoons of Lard

1 pinch of Salt

Rich dough

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare the maize cakes, first dehusk the corn cob and cook it with lime.

Step 2 : Then, grind the corn until it reaches the proper consistency.

Step 3 : Next, add lard, salt, grated cheese, natilla, and sour milk to the mixture.

Step 4 : Form round cakes with a hole in the center and bake them in a wood-fired oven until ready.
