Ingredients

2 cups of Crushed maria cookies

1 ½ Yellow butter bar

5 cups of Cream cheese spread

1 cup of Yellow butter

1 ¾ cup of Sugar

4 tablespoons of Flour

4 Eggs

½ cup of Rompopo

½ teaspoon of Ground cinnamon

1 pinch of Ground allspice

1 cup of Cream cheese spread

2 ½ cups of Powdered sugar

1 tablespoon of Rum

4 tablespoons of Yellow butter

Preparation

Step 1 : Place the semi-crushed cookies in a blender or food processor and blend until completely crushed.

Step 2 : Add the melted yellow butter and incorporate.

Step 3 : Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature.

Step 4 : In a bowl, mix the cream cheese spread until creamy.

Step 5 : Then add the butter, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and allspice, mixing well.

Step 6 : Next, add Rompopo and eggs one at a time, mixing at low speed to avoid incorporating air.

Step 7 : For the buttercream, ensure all ingredients are at room temperature.

Step 8 : In a bowl, beat the cream cheese until fluffy and airy.

Step 9 : Add the yellow butter and beat at medium-high speed.

Step 10 : Then, lower the speed, add the powdered sugar, and beat at high speed.

Step 11 : In a container, evenly spread the cookie mixture, add the Rompopo filling, and bake at 350°F for an hour and a half.

Step 12 : After removing from the oven, let cool and refrigerate for at least 6 hours.

Step 13 : Before serving, decorate with cream cheese buttercream.
