Ingredients
12 Plums
1 Piece of panela, broken
2 cups of Water
3 Cinnamon sticks
Cloves
Preparation
Step 1 : Place the panela pieces, water, and spices in a pot.
Step 2 : Cook over low heat until the panela dissolves.
Step 3 : Then, increase the heat and bring to a boil.
Step 4 : Reduce the heat and stir constantly until it reaches a thick consistency.
Step 5 : Meanwhile, wash the plums and make a cross-shaped cut to remove the pits.
Step 6 : Cook the plums in water and then pour them into the honey.
Step 7 : Finally, let it rest before serving and enjoying.
