Ingredients

½ liter of Water

120 grams of Dried rococo roses

150 grams of Flour

100 milliliters of Rose infusion

25 grams of Yeast

800 grams of Flour

20 grams of Salt

10 grams of Ground cinnamon

1 Grated apple

1 Egg

80 grams of Butter

25 grams of Yeast

Zest of two oranges

160 grams of Sugar

50 grams of Sesame seeds

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare Honduran pink bread, start by boiling water in a pot.

Step 2 : Then, add the dried rococo roses and allow to macerate until the water cools.

Step 3 : Once the mixture is ready, ferment it in a bag until it doubles in size.

Step 4 : Meanwhile, mix flour with salt and cinnamon to form a corona and add the other ingredients.

Step 5 : Knead the resulting mixture, incorporate the ferment, and knead until you get a smooth dough.

Step 6 : After letting the dough rest, divide into portions and shape the rolls, placing them on a baking sheet.

Step 7 : Sprinkle with egg and let ferment again.

Step 8 : Finally, bake at 180°C for 25 minutes.

Step 9 : Once ready, it is recommended to cut and enjoy the delicious Honduran pink bread.
