Ingredients

2 pounds of Peaches

4 Cinnamon sticks

Sugar

1 pound of Local cherries

1 liter of Water

2 Clove sachets

1 can of Condensed milk

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare Honduran-style peaches in honey, start by washing and peeling the peaches.

Step 2 : Then, cut the peaches in half and make an additional cut on the halves.

Step 3 : In a pot, add the peaches along with the liter of water and the local cherries.

Step 4 : Bring the pot to a low heat and add the clove sachets, which can be crushed if desired.

Step 5 : Next, add the cinnamon sticks and gently stir the mixture.

Step 6 : Once the peaches have a soft texture, add the sugar and gently mix with a spoon.

Step 7 : Once the sugar dissolves completely, add the two clove sachets and the cinnamon sticks.

Step 8 : Let the mixture boil for 15 to 20 minutes.

Step 9 : After that time, remove the pot from the heat and let it cool.

Step 10 : Peaches in honey can be refrigerated or served at room temperature.

Step 11 : If desired, add the can of condensed milk for a delicious touch before enjoying.
