Ingredients

1 ½ Stick of yellow butter

1 ½ cup of Flour

1 tablespoon of Coarse salt

1 tablespoon of Sugar

1 Egg yolk

3 tablespoons of Semi-skimmed milk

2 cups of Peaches

2 cups of Blackberries

¼ cup of Brown sugar

2 tablespoons of Flour

¼ teaspoon of Cinnamon

1 pinch of Salt

1 Beaten egg

2 tablespoons of Sugar

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this delicious galette, start by cutting the Yellow Butter into small pieces.

Step 2 : Then, combine the flour, sugar, and salt in a mixer at low speed.

Step 3 : Add the Yellow Butter to the flour mixture and blend until integrated.

Step 4 : In a separate bowl, whisk the egg yolk with the Semi-skimmed Milk and add to the flour mixture, stirring until combined.

Step 5 : Wrap the resulting dough in plastic wrap and let it rest in the refrigerator for 15 to 20 minutes.

Step 6 : While the dough rests, preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking dish with parchment paper.

Step 7 : Cut the peaches into half-moons and mix in a medium bowl with the blackberries, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt.

Step 8 : On a floured flat surface, roll out the dough and transfer to the baking dish, then arrange the fruit in the center, leaving space around.

Step 9 : Fold the edges of the dough over the fruit, forming pleats.

Step 10 : Brush the crust with the beaten egg and sprinkle evenly with brown sugar over the pasta and fruit.

Step 11 : Bake the galette for approximately 50 minutes until the crust turns a light brown.

Step 12 : Once ready, let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
