5 Donuts

½ pound of Sweet rapadura

3 cups of Water

5 grams of Ceylon cinnamon

5 Cloves

5 Allspice berries

3 Vanilla drops

1 teaspoon of Ground ginger

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this delicious recipe, start by placing a small pot with the 3 cups of water and the chopped sweet in high heat.

Step 2 : While the sweet dissolves, grind the cinnamon, cloves, and allspice berries in a mortar and pestle.

Step 3 : Once the sweet reaches a boil, add the previously ground spices, along with the vanilla and ginger.

Step 4 : Stir the mixture for 3 minutes and let it boil for an additional 2 minutes to meld the aromas.

Step 5 : Then, remove the pot from heat and let the mixture cool slightly before straining the honey through a sieve.

Step 6 : In a large pot, arrange the Olanchano Donuts and pour the strained honey over them.

Step 7 : Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium and allow the honey to soak into the donuts.

Step 8 : Finally, let the dessert cool a little before serving to enjoy this delicious treat.
