Ingredients

1 kilogram of Nance

1 Panela or sugarcane molasses

2 cups of Water

1 cup of Aguardiente (liquor)

1 Glass jar

2 Cinnamon stick

8 Cloves

Preparation

Step 1 : Wash the nances and add them to the glass jar.

Step 2 : Then, pour the desired amount of liquor into the jar with the nances.

Step 3 : In a separate pot, prepare the molasses by mixing the shredded sugarcane with 2 cups of water, stirring until completely dissolved.

Step 4 : This will take approximately 10 minutes of cooking.

Step 5 : Next, pour the syrup into the jar with the nances and add the cloves and cinnamon stick.

Step 6 : Seal the jar and shake it a couple of times, then let it rest.

Step 7 : It is recommended to let it rest for longer to achieve a better flavor before serving.
