Ingredients

2 French toast bread

2 liters of Whole milk

4 Eggs

2 Sweet rapadura

Cinnamon sticks

Raisins

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare the rice-style milk French toast, start by slicing the bread into not too thin slices.

Step 2 : Then, beat the egg whites until reaching the desired stiffness and mix them with the yolks.

Step 3 : Next, heat a skillet with enough oil over medium heat and dip the bread slices in milk, then pass them through the egg mixture.

Step 4 : Place the soaked bread slices in the hot skillet and fry for a few minutes until golden.

Step 5 : Meanwhile, in a deep pot with water, boil the rapadura with cinnamon sticks to make the syrup.

Step 6 : Once the syrup is ready, strain it to remove impurities and add the cooked bread slices.

Step 7 : Let it cook on low heat until fully soaked but not falling apart.

Step 8 : If desired, sprinkle some syrup over the French toast without boiling.
