Ingredients
24 Camulian mangoes
1 cup of Water
1 Sweet panela (raspadura)
1 Cinnamon stick
2 liters of Water
5 Cloves
Preparation
Step 1 : The mangoes should be washed and peeled.
Step 2 : Then, make cuts in them so they absorb the honey and enhance their flavor.
Step 3 : In a pot, place the mangoes and water to bring to a boil.
Step 4 : Once boiling, drain them.
Step 5 : In another pot, boil one cup of water to make the honey with the chopped panela, cinnamon, and cloves.
Step 6 : Add the mangoes to the pot with the honey over low heat, stirring constantly until they reach the desired consistency, which may take about an hour.
